I’m not a poetry or literature expert. In fact, I never took a poetry class at university. I was a pre-physical therapy major and then went straight to grad school. My undergrad required a lot of science classes and labs and I was such a geek (still am) that I took math classes for electives! I’ve always loved to read and write poetry. Poems help me make sense of life.
I am a writer and a pediatric physical therapist. I have the two best jobs in the world!

My writing credits include fiction, NF, and poetry for educational tests. Don’t blame me if you don’t like standardized test questions, I only write the test passages (aka “the little stories”) that come before the questions. Everyone likes those, right? I write about children’s books and international book fairs for a European newspaper and here on this blog.
