- I am a writer and a pediatric physical therapist. I have the two best jobs in the world! ***** My writing credits include fiction, NF, and poetry for educational tests. Don’t blame me if you don’t like standardized test questions, I only write the test passages (aka “the little stories”) that come before the questions. Everyone likes those, right? I write about children’s books and international book fairs for a European newspaper and here on this blog. ***** I love the SCBWI and I am honored to be a recipient of the Kimberly Colen Memorial Grant. My MG / tween novel THE END OF THE LINE placed second in the smartwriters.com W.I.N. contest. ***** I am the Assistant International Regional Advisor of the SCBWI and regularly attend the Frankfurt and Bologna book fairs. ***** And - yes, there's more - I am one of the coordinators for The SCBWI Symposium and Showcase at the Bologna Book Fair 22 March -16 March 2010.
